“I cannot begin to express the gratitude I fell towards Dr. Shannon. At a very difficult time, I turned to Eternal Pawprint so that my Jupiter would be able to pass away peacefully at home in the sunshine. Dr. Shannon was very kind and compassionate. The care she provided our family is beyond words. I was able to be by his side the entire time and hold his paw in my hand as he let out his last breath. I did not know a service like this existed. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Shannon and her staff to anyone what is facing this decision in their life. This is a remarkable service. The passing of a loved one is never easy, but with with Eternal Pawprint, they took away the anxiety and stress of having to go to the vet and say goodbye. Thank you, I know my old man earned his wings and is watching over me.” ~ Donna Gessner
“My fiancé and I had to make the heartbreaking decision to assist our beloved Corgi Layne out of this world yesterday, and Dr. Shannon provided the most peaceful, dignified and comforting path over the rainbow bridge for him. We couldn’t be more thankful for her support and compassion. Losing a fur child is absolutely shattering to your heart and soul, and even just the slightest bit of empathy from others helps during that painful time. Dr. Shannon’s empathy goes above and beyond, and we were able to watch our sweet boy leave the world, knowing that it was with grace and no pain, which is what he deserves. I’m so thankful he was able to receive that level of peace. The hardest part begins for us, in trying to figure out how to move through the days with such a heavy loss in our hearts, and an emptiness in our house. Layne may have been in a small Corgi body, but had a personality that would light up the entire house. Our only comfort is that we made the best decision for him before his health deteriorated even more, and we are SO thankful that someone as wonderful as Dr. Shannon exists in order to help ease the way. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Dr. Shannon! And I know that Layne thanks you too.” ~ Ellyse Scott
“I can’t say enough about how wonderful Eternal Pawprints is. A couple weeks ago, my big guy went downhill very quickly. I sent a message to Eternal Pawprints and heard back from them very quickly. Dr. Shannon was at my house within 90 minutes and was wonderful to both Wyatt and my family. She was compassionate, understanding, and reassuring. It is a terrible thing to lose a pet, but she made the transition as peaceful as possible.” ~ Lisa Sanderoff
“Dr. Shannon was wonderful. I highly recommend Eternal Pawprints.” ~ Jerry Neutze Jr.
“When the time came for my elderly cat to pass, I knew that Dr. Shannon would be the one I would call. Dr. Shannon had helped in the past with our other cat and I was so appreciative of her kindness, professionalism, gentleness, and patience. Shadow and Phantom both got to pass at home and I am forever grateful to Dr. Shannon.” ~ Kimberly Perone
“I am so grateful to Dr Shannon for providing this service that allowed my beloved dog to pass peacefully at home. I filled out a simple request online and then received a phone call. From the moment I was called until the actual event, I was given complete information and explanations of what would be done and what to expect. Dr Shannon took the time to listen to me and talk to me about my dog, She did not rush or make me feel rushed. She was gentle and kind with my dog. Services are prepaid so there is no awkwardness about payment during a highly emotional time. Dr Shannon even made a pawprint of my dog’s paw in clay that she gave to me. If you are unfortunately in need of this type of service for your pet, I highly recommend Eternal Pawprints.” ~ Carla Supik
“Dr. Shannon and her home Euthanasia was a much better experience than taking our dog to the vet’s office for the same service. Being able to be at home, in his own bed, made our old boy more at ease and peace in his last hours with us. Dr. Shannon was on time, caring, considerate, and compassionate toward our pet and our needs. If you have to go through this with your beloved pet, do it at home with Dr. Shannon.” ~ Randy Pomfrey
“On December 16,2021 I had to make the difficult decision to put my sweet Harley to sleep. Harley was the sweetest chocolate lab and we loved each other very much.
I was so devastated until Dr. Shannon arrived and she helped ease my pain tremendously as she talked to me and reassured me I was doing the right thing for Harley.
I definitely recommend external paw prints and Dr. Shannon if you ever need to make this decision. Very compassionate.
Thank you Dr. Shannon for everything you do.” ~ Angela Riley
“This service is wonderful. Dr. Shannon explained everything clearly and gave us the time we needed with our pet before proceeding. It was quick and painless for my sweet Bowie. Highly recommend.” ~ Nicole Wallace
“Dr. Shannon guided me through the process while making me feel comfortable. More importantly, she was very compassionate.” ~ Jose Ortiz
“As devastating as it is to be in the position to write this kind of review, I am so thankful there was an option like this for our sweet boy. Thor had degenerative myelopathy and could barely walk, so being able to have him pass peacefully in his home, his safe place, with his head on my lap…it meant everything. This hands down was the hardest thing my husband and I have ever had to do but Dr. Shannon helped make it was easy as possible. Thor was so calm and at peace when he went, we had time to say our goodbyes, our younger dog was able to be there and understand exactly what was going on which has helped tremendously with her grieving process. Putting your fur baby down is never, ever, going to be easy – but if you have to do it I would highly recommend Eternal Pawprints, and truly just thank Dr. Shannon so much for helping us and taking such good care of our boy in his final moments.” ~ Danielle Ogle
“Dr Shannon came to our house to help our beloved Queenie go to her peace and meet up again with her brother Bully. Dr Shannon is very upbeat, compassionate, and knows what she is doing. She waited until Queenie had settled and was napping before sedating her and once Queenie was sleeping peacefully, then she helped Queenie to go quietly. Queenie was relaxed and not stressed and this is what made her passing easier. The picture I am sharing is when she was younger before Cushing’s disease took it’s toll.” ~ Victoria Cenicacelaya
“I was very blessed to be able to have Dr. Shannon come to my house when my sweet kitty Mimi was suffering from cancer. I knew there was nothing we could do to make her better and she would just get worse. Dr. Shannon showed so much kindness and empathy and was so gentle with Mimi. She took the time to sit with me and make sure I had a lot of information about what was wrong with Mimi and also about possible treatments that are available if my other pets fall ill. She was not rushed at all and spent time answering my questions and explaining everything. I was happy that I didn’t have to put Mimi in a carrier and take her to the vet and she was able to pass peacefully in the familiar surroundings of her home. Thank you so much. I am very grateful. The picture is of Mimi in happier times.” ~ Kelley Marsilii
“Dr. Shannon and staff were the best during this time of need. Very calming and personable. They made the whole process much easier not only on our pet but the family. They answered all of our questions and listened to how much we loved our Roxie. I would recommend Eternal Pawprints to anyone who has to experience the end of life with their pet. So caring and comforting.” ~ Pam Kouzis
“We are so happy that we chose Eternal Pawprints to help Kodiak with his passing. Dr. Shannon was so compassionate and patient. She truly helped my wife and I, our three daughters, our two puppies and our cat, with Kodi’s passing. It was clear how much she cares for animals and their owners. We are so grateful and appreciative. We cannot thank Dr. Shannon and Eternal Pawprints enough.” ~ Buxton Family
“
“This was such a hard decision to make for my dog. I knew when the time came it would have to be done at home because he was just too anxious in the car. My Emmy boy relaxed after only 5 minutes of meeting Dr. Shannon. She has a special and amazing presence and was able to ease our worries while still allowing us to feel all the feelings and think all the irrational thoughts that come along with grief. The whole process was smoother than I could have ever imagined. We are so grateful for Dr. Shannon and highly recommend her for this very difficult decision.” ~ Julia Kindred
“Kept hoping as most of us do, for my Leila to pass on her own. Yesterday I had to say “goodbye”. I could see in her eyes that she was sad and needed relief. Dr. Shannon was so wonderful with Leila and with me. She asked me about Leila (our story). It didn’t take long for the process and was easier at home. So sad to lose part of my family. I have one dog remaining and he too is grieving. We are comforting each other today.” ~ Fran Leppert
” As a hospice nurse, one of my biggest priorities is keeping my patients comfortable and their families educated. When our Scout started to struggle, I wanted what I give my patients. With the assistance and support of Dr. Shannon, we were able we make Scout as comfortable as possible for his last 4 months and keep him home with us. Eternal Pawprints was very supportive of our decisions and wonderful to work with.” ~ Shari Clifton
“I can’t thank Dr. Shannon and her staff enough for their help during this difficult time. From the first call to make the appointment to the very end was handled with compassion and kindness for both our family and our Ralph. Dr. Shannon was so kind, compassionate and caring. My sweet boy even greeted Dr. Shannon with a kiss when she first came to our house.

From my initial conversation with Elizabeth to our final goodbye to Puma with Dr. Shannon; I knew Puma received exceptional care. Although we miss him so much, I will forever be grateful to Eternal Pawprints for making us feel reassured that we made the best decision. ” ~ Puma’s Family

“On the first day of May, 2007, we found a 6-month old abandoned pup on the street where we lived in Laval-sur-le-Lac, Québec. We named her Kooza. Earlier today, March 31st, 2021, we released her spirit in our home, lovingly and peacefully with her younger brother Kiley nearby. 5,083 days of our lives shared with this beautiful happy and loving girl who only knew how to give her joy and love unconditionally. A pure and generous spirit. She enriched our lives every single one of those days. We are diminished by her loss. But now she is once again together with her beloved older brother Jukki, and somehow we must find a way to reach deeply inside of ourselves to be able to celebrate that. May they again romp together with the joy they shared among us in this life. We love you Kooza. You will always be a part of us.
Thank you Dr. Shannon for making this as peaceful and loving as it was.”
~ Kooza’s peeps Astrid and Barry, and her brother Kiley.
“Dr Shannon and Eternal Paw Prints were wonderful to work with. They truly did make such a sad time as pleasant as possible. Our dog was so comfortable around Dr Shannon….like he knew instantly how special she is. We are so thankful for the services provided by Dr Shannon as our veterinary was not able to provide house call, especially on a short notice.” ~ Rebecca
“I wanted to thank you for everything you did for us the day that Ella made her trip to heaven. I cannot express to you how much of a Godsend you were to me. I had struggled for a very long time with the decision to let Ella go. I did not have one instant of peace about it until you walked through our door. Every single thing that you did, from putting Ella and us at ease to the final moment when you lovingly wrapped her in the blanket made it all just a little bit more ok. You were a blessing in an impossible situation. I could not have asked for a more peaceful and beautiful ending to Ella’s amazing life journey. I will forever be grateful for your kind heart and your loving spirit.” ~ Aimie Linkous
“Dr Shannon and her staff are the greatest. Our yellow lab/husky mix was 13 years old and she was a home body She had a fenced in backyard and that was all she wanted We tired to take her for walks when she was a puppy and she wanted no parts of it. We would get half a block from the house and she turned and tugged and pulled until we turned around and headed home. Then she couldnt get back there fast enough. Needless to say she stayed home from then on and absolutely hated getting in the car to head to the vets office. So it was a pleasant surprise to find a place that would come to our home (her) home for her last moments with us.Dr Shannon has the care and compassion that you need when you are losing a friend companion and member of the family. I cannot thank them enough for the professionalism caring informative manner that Dr Shannon and staff showed throughout the whole process. And when I asked about a private witness cremation Dr Shannon went above and beyond to schedule our appointment to help us achieve our goal bringing Ella home . Thank you Dr Shannon from the bottom of our hearts. ” ~ Dirk and Patti
“Shortly before Thanksgiving, TJ showed signs that a lifetime of adventures was catching up to him in a way that was quintessentially 2020. At nearly 16 years old and with multiple health issues, we know he would be an unlikely surgical candidate and so we did everything we could do make the best of our time left, We had lots of treats, lots of cuddles, lots of naps on the couch and lots of time warming our paws by the fireplace. When the day came – unexpectedly the day after Christmas, a holiday weekend – Dr. Shannon was there to help us through the painful decision making process and to say goodbye with dignity from the comfort of our home. I will always wish I could have done more, but I am comforted in knowing I did everything I could to make his time special. TJ’s aftercare was handled seamlessly and he was back home just over a week later, even with the holidays. Dr. Shannon and her team provide a necessary service with compassion and a straight-foward approach. We felt safe, heard, and that our wishes were respected the entire time. “
~ The Bryson Family
“We had Dr. Shannon come out to her at home to help us and guide us to saying goodbye to our sweet golden retriever Dusty. She helped us during one of the most difficult times of our lives make one of the most difficult decisions, in the comfort and peace of our home. Our sweet Dusty was surrounded by those she loved and who loved her, including her sister Shilo. I would highly recommend Dr. Shannon and Eternal Pawprints to anyone in this kind of situation.” ~ Bob Dodsworth
“We recently had to make the painful decision to put not one but two of our furbabies to rest. Cheyanne (our chocolate lab) and Kooper (our yellow lab) had both been declining in health and we couldn’t bare to see them suffer anymore. After doing a lot of research and making calls to other places, the staff at My Eternal Pawprints was nothing short of amazing to talk to. They took their time and were so compassionate when I was on the phone with them I felt like I knew them personally. When the day arrived, Dr. Shannon came to our house and really helped put our minds at ease that we were doing the right thing. Her support, understanding, professionalism and compassion were more than I have ever experienced with a doctor or vet. She answered all of our questions and even let our daughter (6) help with the paw print clay impressions. I am so glad that we found My Eternal Pawprints to help us lay our pups to rest. Thank you all so much for making a very emotional experience a little more easy to deal with. “
~ The Schildtknecht Family – David, Melissa, Ryley and Piper
“When my little 13 yr. Old mini-schnauzer, Harley, developed serious medical issues, I knew I would soon need to make a very difficult decision. Car rides and vet visits were very stressful for her. Eternal Pawprints offered a comforting alternative. As far as Harley was concerned, Dr. Shannon was a new friend with treats visiting us. Dr. Shannon took time explaining the process, and when it was time, Harley gently fell asleep on my lap wrapped in her favorite blanket. Being able to be in her safe place at that moment was so comforting. If you find yourself needing to make this very difficult decision, Dr. Shannon can help you and your beloved pet through with kindness and compassion.” ~ Debbie Peduto
“Making the call for our girl, Ava, was not an easy one. After 13 loving years through the good times and the bad with her at my side, it had become increasingly obvious to everyone around that her quality of life was rapidly falling without her mobility. From the minute I received my callback to schedule with Emilie, I knew Eternal Pawprints was the right choice. The staff is incredibly gentle and empathetic, and Dr. Shannon was nothing short of amazing with Ava. Planning and payment was swift and easy so I could spend my time with my fuzzy girl rather than stressing over the details. Dr. Shannon arrived right on time, took her time with our family (even humored my Uncle’s weird jokes), and patiently explained the process and let us say our goodbyes. Ava got to eat a plate of her favorite steak as she slipped into sedation and went quietly and peacefully in the comfort of her own home surrounded by loved ones. Dr. Shannon let us send her favorite toy with her for cremation and even made two sets of paw prints and hair for my younger brother, who couldn’t bear to stay and watch. Thank you so much, Eternal Pawprints. I will never forget what you did for me and my family: Bring us peace. 🐺🤎🖤” ~ Davis Family
“I moved out of my parent’s home when I was 17 and Pan was my only company. She was such a sweet and clumsy pup, always wagging that crazy tail of hers and stealing my food behind my back. She had gotten sick in her later years and never really recovered fully. By the end she was in such bad shape, she couldn’t get comfortable. She wasn’t sleeping and it broke me to see her like that. To be honest, I wish I had the courage to do this sooner. The lady was incredibly kind, comforted us, and helped Pan relax for the first time in a long while. As much as it hurt, it was an ease on my heart to know she was finally at peace.. Truly an amazing service. Thank you so much. ” ~ Jacob

“Dr Shannon was amazing. I can not say enough great things about her. I was having very hefty second thoughts on whether it was the right time and the right choice to put down our 14yr old Chocolate Lab Tido. She was extremely personable and immediately upon meeting Tido recognized several issues that are untreatable and progressive. This really put my mind at ease and made me realize we were doing the humane thing by putting our sweet boy to rest. She never made us feel rushed, Informed us thoroughly, and even made sure my 4 and 5yr old understood the process and allowed them to be as involved as they wanted to be. I can not even imagine a better experience for such a tragic event It was such an intimate experience in the safety and comfort of our own home. Even allowing for our other dogs to spend time with, and understand that Tido was no longer with us. ” ~ April Leonard
“Dr. Shannon helped make the loss of our sweet Penny just a little easier by allowing us to say goodbye in the comfort of our home and letting us grieve without asking us for anything but to love our girl in her last moments. Losing Penny has been extraordinary hard but we’re so glad we found Eternal Pawprints to help us through it. ” ~ Andrew McCord

“I can’t begin to say just how much this service, and Dr. Shannon’s kindness and patience meant to me and my love, Latte. Latte was nearing 17 years old and this was the most difficult – but necessary given her health and quality of life issues – decision I’ve ever made. On the day of, Dr. Shannon called to let me know she’d be a bit early for our appointment, but I found out that the park I’d chosen was closed for an emergency. Immediately, Dr. Shannon offered solutions that included finding another spot together or postponing to another day. Unfortunately, a postponement wasn’t a solution for my Latte – given the events of days prior – but I did, fortunately, have another spot in mind already. We proceeded to drive 20 minutes further and met there, where Dr. Shannon waited until my friends/ support system could arrive to bid my Latte adieu. Dr. Shannon waited until I was ready and followed me to the path where Latte and I would spend our last moments together. I will forever be appreciative for the kindness and patience Dr. Shannon showed Latte and I the whole time. She talked us through things and had Latte’s best interest at the forefront of every moment. I will miss Latte so much but I am so very thankful for every thoughtful word, moment, detail that Eternal Pawprints put into this experience. Thank you Eternal Pawprints and thank you, Dr. Shannon.” ~ Nina Kulacki
“I am going through one of the most difficult times of my life but every person I spoke with at Eternal Pawprints, from the office staff to the visiting Vet, made it a little easier. I greatly appreciated their professionalism, kindness and compassion. The decision to euthanize your beloved pet is terrible. You know you are ending their pain, but your heart is breaking at the same time. Being able to do this in your home is so much more comforting for both you and your pet. Gabby and I cannot thank you all enough.” ~ Karen Stafford
“Chloe was the sweetest dog. She liked to be included in everything that was going on. Chloe was at my side every chance she had. She loved to ride in the car and got especially excited when she knew she was going swimming.
Dr. Shannon made one of the most difficult days of my life more bearable. She was so kind and really put me at ease. I cannot thank Dr. Shannon enough. It was so nice that Chloe could be in her favorite place, the front yard, to take her last nap. It was peaceful.
Thank you Dr. Shannon.” ~ Renée Stepp
“It is with a sad heart that I say our Oliver of 18 years was layed to rest at the big pine tree in the backyard today. He was Loved by all and was the official greeter at our house. He loved a party, but not the party hat. He would visit with everyone who came by to get his pet. Oliver was a special cat who we Loved dearly. Be safe in Heaven our beloved boy.

When Dr Shannon arrived she was professional and comforting. After meeting Biscuit and seeing his condition she assured us we had made the best decision. She explained in great detail and was open to our questions. We were extremely grateful we were able to allow Biscuit to be where he was most comfortable, at home, in his bed with his family. This made it a little easier for him and us. Thank you Dr Shannon for helping us through this difficult time.” ~ Tanya
“Murphy was never the biggest fan of going to the vets. He would be excited at first because he was able to smell all the other puppies, but once he got back in the examination room and figured out what was going on, he would hide behind my legs. We chose to use Eternal Pawprints because I did not like the idea of Murphy’s final moments being in the vet’s office on the cold hard ground. I wanted him to be in his own home, on his bed, surrounded by his family.
When Dr. Shannon arrived at the house, Murphy went right over to her as if she was an old family friend that visited the house often. He wasn’t afraid of her. Dr. Shannon made sure that Murphy was comfortable throughout the entire process. Prior to doing anything, Dr. Shannon would go over what she was about to do and answered any questions that our family had. Once Murphy was at peace, we were able to spend some time with him alone. Dr. Shannon provided comforting and supportive words that day because she understood what we were going through. Our family is extremely thankful for Dr. Shannon on one of the most difficult days of our lives.” ~ Francesca Raimond
“Shannon was amazing and we could have not asked for a kinder experience given the circumstances. She answered all of the kids (and our) questions with the knowledge and emotional support that we needed. I could not have imagined our girl going through this in a cold sterile veterinary office. We thank you deeply for bringing her into our lives for our hardest moment.”- Jose Medina
“Making the decision to put Princess to sleep was extremely hard. The first time I called and cancel (24 hours notice). I was very scare , sad and didn’t know if I was making the right decision. When I called again to reschedule they were extremely nice and understandable. On Friday when it was time Dr. Shannon went over everything with me. Dr Shannon was so supportive and I felt like I wasn’t alone, she was my angel that day. I wouldn’t have asked for another better vet. Thank you so much Dr. Shannon.” – Jessica Alquijay

We will forever be grateful to Dr. Shannon for being there during one of the most painful and difficult moments of our lives. Saying farewell to a family member is never easy. Dr. Shannon provided a dignified experience for our beloved Chipper. We are forever grateful Dr. Shannon came into our lives when she did. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!” – Lisa Jannone
