This is a 30-45 minute telemedicine consultation with our doctor on the quality of life of your pet. This consult includes helping you assess your pet’s quality of life (QOL), provides general advice on end-of-life care, typical signs & symptoms of your pet’s diseases and issues, and any additional followup communication and correspondence with you or your veterinarian. Because this is a virtual consultation, NO MEDICATIONS will be prescribed nor specific individual recommendations for your pet. We can not provide these without an examination by law. This is a brief version of our more in-depth hospice consultation and is to help give you direction. A summary of the consult will be sent to you and your veterinarian.
** There is a $50 fee for cancellations within 1 hour of the consult, no-show, or 15 min late to the appointment **
Includes a physical examination of your pet by our doctor, full review of their recent medical history, a full assessment their quality of life, and a customized hospice end-of-life plan to help you care for your pet and monitor their progression. This can help you figure out the best time frame to say goodbye and not wait too long. See Hospice tab for more details.
